Leak Repair & TANK refurbishment

This is Justin’s dad, Dana, working on the tank where Keiko lived in Mexico City for 11 years. In 1996, Keiko was moved to a two-million gallon purpose built tank with medical facilities at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. (Lower right photo) Dana was involved with the build in Oregon where Keiko received much needed medical care. The star of the movie “Free Willy” was originally captured in Iceland at age two. He was returned to Iceland for rehabilitation and to prepare for his eventual release back into the wild.
